Our server-based systems use “open-system” technology, allowing you to apply various computer hardware configurations.
At a minimum, here’s what you’ll need: 2.0 GHz multi-core processor; 2 GB system memory; 3 GB available hard drive space; Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition, or Windows 2007 Server Standard Edition; CD-ROM and backup drive (DVD-RW or external hard drive); and, a broadband Internet connection (DSL/cable/T1). (For increased performance for remote users, you may wish to use terminal services or Citrix.)
Electronic Claims requirements include a 56K Async Modem and Symantec ProComm Plus for Windows v4.8.
Required printers? Non-host-based HP LaserJet 1300 compatible or greater with PCL 5. (We recommend the duplex option to simultaneously print both fronts and backs of CMNs.)
If you still use pin-fed pre-printed forms, you’ll need a wide carriage dot matrix Epson FX compatible or greater printer, (such as an OkiData 321, Panasonic KXP-3696, or Epson DFX-5000).
